How I found it was honestly embarrassing — I never could get my head round what an ew return would be when the place terms changed. Basically I’d guess and then be surprised. These days I stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — type in the price and your stake and it shows the return instantly, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles maths, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, and that’s where I’d always mess it up. One thing that genuinely shifted things for me were the nerdier extras. The odds-to-probability converter and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly staking calculator — I use half kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutch tool is decent if I’m splitting a race.
Couple of gripes. The design looks a bit basic — no flash, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s usable although the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. Also there’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but you asked.
Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. If anyone even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — it’s saved me a fair few arguments with the bookie.
