The reason I started using it was honestly embarrassing — I could never work out what an e/w return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just guess and moan when the payout landed. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

One thing that really shifted things for me is the nerdier bits. They’ve got an implied probability thing and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly criterion calculator — I use half kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutching one is handy too for when I’m spreading across selections.
Couple of gripes. The design is very functional, let’s say — zero frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s usable but the bigger tables are a squeeze. And no app, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.
Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does what it says. If anyone honestly works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saves me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
